Personally I wouldn’t say at a young age I ever got judged at all for race. I believe the Bay Area is the most diverse place in the world and I know that has something to do with it, but I noticed when I left the Bay Area, people would say I’m not truly Mexican because I have white skin complexity. In the work place personally I wouldn’t say I have been judged based on my race that I know of, especially compared to what is discussed in the podcast. But while listening to this podcast, it didn’t surprise me too much because I understand that this is something that happens to everyone in the workplace, no matter the skin color and even sometimes gender.
